چکیده

Reader in Surgery, Luc know University. It is an undeniable fact that the abdominal diseases of the ileo-csecal region repeatedly claim the attention of the surgeon. The excuse for a short note on this subject is the great and possibly growing frequency of such diseases in the population around us at the present time. The following figures show the incidence of tuberculosis in the United Provinces, taken from the annual reports ?f the Inspector-General of Civil Hospitals, United Provinces, and based on the statistics obtained from the Government hospitals and state aided dispensaries, etc.
